Mortgage Banking Jobs description
Mortgage banking positions are generally available with banks specializing in originating and/or servicing mortgage loans. Banks offering mortgage facilities employ mortgage processors, mortgage banking associates, mortgage banking attorneys, account executives, loan officers, mortgage banking clerks, underwriters, consultants, mortgage advisors, mortgage loan originator, mortgage analysts, and similar professionals at the operational level.Most of positions listed above require a bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree. However, positions like those of an account executive, sales representative, and sales manager, which actively involve selling of mortgage products might not require strict educational qualifications. Senior or managerial positions in mortgage banking are mostly backed by quality experience in the related the field. Almost all of the above mentioned positions require familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
