Observe the school. What do people need normally in school? Of course, its pens, paper, pencils and you know all that other stuff. Know that they also need food and drinks too.
Start stocking! Lets say gum is what everybody in your school wants but they aren't able to buy it. Well simple! All you need to do is go to the store and buy a pack of gum. Say it costs 75 cents. You will have to raise the price by 10-20 cents to achieve profit.
Sell it fast! You should sell these to the rest and use the money obtained to repeat the previous step. If you have enough money, take higher risks, go to a wholesale store that sells things cheaper than normal stores and buy a whole box of gum instead, there may be 25 to 30 packs of gum in one box.
Be innovative. Now that you know the whole process, be innovative in what you sell. Make the strangest item that people would ever buy. Maybe marshmallows dipped in chocolate? A pen gun? Think of something creative. Nowadays, these are the kinds of ideas the market wants.
Get some help. Find some kids that will work for free. Use them to sell the stuff. But you be the treasurer. Even though they may be good workers, you might not be able to trust them with your money.
Rarify your commodities. People will want to buy from you and you only if you have items no one else has. For instance, if you were selling Blue-Eyes White Dragon Yu-Gi-Oh cards, sell LOB-001 (Blue-Eyes White Dragon, from the 2002 pack Legend of Blue-Eyes White Dragon) rather than Blue-Eyes you can get in another pack. Also, NEVER sell fakes.
Be business like. Never be pleased. Remember, you are making money. If someone pays you a lot of money, take it!! Just make sure you are not ripping the person off really badly. Keep records. Make sure you are keeping track of your earnings. Figure out what to do with it!
You have to know what you're dealing with and know if you're going against the rules and selling things in school. Then, you have to ask a few fellow students on what they want to get at school but can't get there hands on. After, you figure out what they want you have to see how much they would pay for it.
You can easily earn from house cleaning or other students' dorm room cleaning. Post notices on the bulletin boards of local grocery stores and around campus to find customers. Many businesses also hire college students to clean offices at night.
Be a mother's helper or part-time nanny for a busy mom. Place a line ad in the local newspaper or scout the classifieds for these types of jobs near your school. Line ads are inexpensive and even offered as a free service at some newspapers. Have a good and don't give up!
