Senior Manager, Executive Communications:Aon is seeking a Senior Manager, Executive Communications to join the global Communications & Content team within global Marketing & Communications. This role is responsible for driving and implementing an integrated internal and external global communications strategy – including executive positioning, thought leadership and organizational/internal communications for certain Aon Executive Committee Leaders, such as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Innovation Officer, as well as contributing to communications needs for broader firm-wide initiatives.This role will report to the Head of Executive Communications as an individual contributor but will be part of a broader community across the global Marketing & Communications function, partnering with global media, marketing, colleague experience, content, and working with the Global Head of Communications and Content to complete the overall communications objectives for Aon.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement overall internal and external communication strategies for a variety of initiatives to engage and inform colleagues, change behavior where required, drive business results, as well as story tell around vision and growth.Cultivate trusted partnerships with senior leaders to help influence communication style and effectiveness and generate results for the business. Work with leaders to identify communication objectives, brainstorm creative solutions, and develop and implement communication plans using multiple channels.Ensure the planning, development, and execution of communications that consider all audiences/levels in the firm and externally; ensure consistency and alignment with Aon’s practices, brand standards, and other initiatives/global messages; support business priorities and objectives; and align to the company’s values and goals.Use a wide range of communication channels (webcasts, face-to-face, video, online, print, social media, etc.) to engage and inform all levels of colleagues globally, as well as applicable external audiences.Lead program and content development for leaders supported, carrying a significant writing workload.Measure effectiveness of communication activities and use feedback to improve future efforts.Experience/Credentials:7 to 10 years demonstrated ability in communications, or a related fieldExperience in the financial services or fintech industry a plusPossess a bachelor's degree in a related field; graduate degree a plus (e.g., Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business)Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders across an enterprise and collaborate at all levels of the organizationTrack record of producing compelling, complex communications in support of global business objectivesAbility to advise and partner with senior leaders, including C-suite-level executives, in articulating a compelling vision and proof points illustrating successful executionAble to lead complex, sensitive communication initiatives, carefully navigating each situation to balance individual and organizational agendasSkills:Ability and willingness to perform both strategic and tactical elements of the roleExceptional writing and editing skills with proven expertise in using different styles and “voice” to reflect the nature of the individual, audience and messageAbility to communicate complex concepts simply and visuallyExceptional organizational skills, including a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projectsAbility to implement programs with speed, accuracy and efficiencyExperience in maximizing new channels, multi-media and social media for communicationsHow we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
