Division Controller II\u00A0Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Division Controller II to join us onsite at our Corporate office in Greeley, CO. The Division Controller II will be responsible for the Accounting support associated with the Prepared Foods business unit and the Corporate Sales Accounting team. The role works closely with Operations and Sales Leadership to identify opportunities, prepares & analyzes capital project paybacks, assists with annual budget preparation, leads & supports digital transformation projects, and manages the sales programs, pricing admin, & deduction processing. This person will also assist and direct the development of internal control procedures, standards, and compliance as it pertains to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act to ensure adherence to GAAP.\u00A0Responsibilities: Management of Prepared Foods plant accounting, operations analysis, and Sales Accounting teams (Sales Programs, Deductions, & Pricing Admin). Includes employee engagement, career development, and succession planning Direct preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports summarizing business activity operational expenses and variances Assist operations leadership with in-depth operational trend and capital project analysis, KPI tracking, and annual budget presentations Lead and develop digital transformation projects, targeting repetitive job functions Assist with the development of internal control procedures, standards, and compliance Ensure proper segregation of duties exists and company assets are safeguarded Coordinate preparation of yearly budgets Work with internal and external audit agencies on quarterly and annual income statements Responsible for inventory controls and accuracy Other duties as assigned \u00A0Qualifications: Bachelor\u2019s degree required; Accounting or Finance preferred 7-10 years combined operational accounting experience Knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP system, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to examine and verify financial documents and reports Ability to prepare a variety of financial statements, reports, and analyses Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, methods, and equipment Knowledge of laws and regulations governing fiscal recordkeeping Understanding of payroll, general ledger, accounts payable, and cost accounting Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles and practices Must be able to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing Strong leadership and team skills Knowledge of principles of supervision, training, and performance evaluation As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.
