Responsible for formulating and defining systems and objectives through research and an understanding of applicable business systems. Assures the effectiveness, accuracy and deployment of those systems. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Support business projects and portfolios by providing high-quality, timely consulting services demonstrating the value of investments and support decision making
Translate external and internal planning guidance into discretely defined IT investments
Provide analysis, training and advice for developing informed business cases
Provide support in developing cost estimates; identifying and analyzing resource options and alternatives; and identifying potential tradeoffs to support Operations decision makers
Provide technical, administrative and logistical support for planning, conducting and reporting meetings, conferences and working group activities
Provide disciplined and mature project management controls for, but not limited to, requirements for technical planning, requirements management, configuration management, technical assessment, decision analysis, technical data management, interface management, risk management, and the certification and accreditation of all solutions
Evaluate and assess investment performance, and the effectiveness and viability of mature capabilities in supporting mission requirements
Develop and conduct annual budget gathering
Manage the end-to-end life cycle of Global Operations procurement requests
Assess costs and negotiate vendor and supply prices
Analyze business supply needs and ensure businesses are getting the best possible material
Manage inventory and order supplies and materials as needed
Resolve pricing conflicts and place bids with different vendors as required
Manage and develop relationships with IT, Networking, and Systems vendors
Establish standards and guidelines for vendors, monitoring vendors to ensure these policies are being followed.
Manage vendor contract renewals - negotiate new and existing vendor contracts.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Salary:
Pay Range: $57,786.56 - $86,679.84
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
