Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Support annual strategic planning process conducted by our business verticals: energy, healthcare, aviation
Perform market research and analysis to support development of GE’s strategy around the energy transition, the future of flight, and precision health
Collaborate with the Enterprise Risk Management team (ERM) to prioritize, manage and execute numerous projects related to risk identification, underwriting, monitoring, risk management and mitigation, governance, and similar areas
Work closely with the Chief Risk Officer and the business senior leadership team to develop strategy around macro themes including digital transformation, future of flight, global and political affairs, and decarbonization
Collaborate with GE’s Business Development and Corporate Finance teams on organic and inorganic value-creation opportunities
Draft presentation materials for use with GE’s Board of Directors and present to senior management
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in financial or risk management roles, particularly in one or more of the following areas: credit, financial risk management, capital markets, structured lending and/or internal audit
Demonstrated knowledge and command of market research, financial valuations, and strategic planning concepts, with a minimum of two years of experience, preferably at a strategy consulting firm or investment bank
Strong analytical skills, with mature and independent judgment
Proven organizational leadership and project management skills
Ability to assimilate and analyze complex information from multiple sources, and to communicate effectively in writing and presentations to a wide range of audiences in clear, understandable language
