Aon Is Looking For An Health Solutions ConsultantAs part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and practical solutions to clients of Aon's New York City Health Solutions consulting practice. Your Impact as An Health Solutions ConsultantIn this position, you will support the lead consultant on some client assignments and/or act as the lead client consultant and own all project management levels to support the execution of Client Service Delivery. In this role, you will serve as the primary day to day contact of clients and oversight of client team & support.  The Health Solutions Benefits Consultant will collaborate with the client Account Executive and Lead Consultant to assist with the execution of strategy and special projects. It includes analysis, drafting or coordinating reports and client presentations, participation in client meetings, and the identification of client needs for other services. Benefits work includes benefit audits, benchmarking, participating in M&A projects, compliance, assistance in financial projections of benefits costs, and monthly financial reports. Roles and Responsibilities:Champion client deliverables and day-to-day activities -responsible for the execution of client deliverables and serve as day-to-day client contact, executing on non-complex client deliverables with little Account Executive oversightDevelop a partnership with clients, vendors, and Aon Health Solutions team by establishing and maintaining solid relationships with plan sponsors, sustaining rapport at all levels, and coordinating customer serviceConduct and lead client meetings, monitor and execute deliverables based on project scope and statement of workOverall deliverable coordination, particularly when it includes multiple pieces such as pricing, strategy, and benchmark dataAbility to articulate recommendations to clients and work with them in a consultative mannerFinancial analysis, including participation and peer-review in developing gross and net plan projections, creating employee contribution scenarios and monthly financial reports Possesses strong negotiation and communication skillsProvide guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues (i.e., sets deadlines and manage team workflow; provide feedback, direction, and coaching)Champion teams and lead by example by embodying Aon's core values and demonstrating respect for other colleagues, clients, and vendor partners.QualificationsThree plus years of experience in Health and BenefitsThree plus years of experience in an HR consulting firm or professional services firm.Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)Strong organizational skillsAbility to handle multiple projects at one timeProject management and strong analytical abilityAdvanced level proficiency with Microsoft OfficeWorking knowledge of benefits and services offered and value to clientsStrong presentation skillsProject management certification is a plusEducation:Bachelor's Degree (mathematics, finance or economics preferred) in related field or equivalent experienceLicensure RequirementsLife, Accident & Health License We offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.  Our Colleague Experience From helping clients gain access to capital after natural disasters, to creating access to health care and retirement for millions, Aon colleagues empower results for our clients, communities, and each other every day.  They make a difference, work with the best, own their potential, and value one another.  This is the Aon Colleague Experience, defining what it means to work at Aon and realizing our vision of empowering human and economic possibility.
