Aon is looking for a Financial Analyst II/Senior Financial Analyst We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Financial Analyst II/Senior Financial Analyst in our New York office (preferable). This position will support multiple offices in US Risk & Health. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare monthly, quarterly, and full year reporting, variance analysis and commentaries of budget, forecast, and prior year results to actuals.Assist with the annual budget, monthly, quarterly, and full year revenue and expense forecast of several business teams.Create trustworthy relationships with the business leaders to deliver accurate budgets and forecasts.Develop a deep understanding of the business and collaborate with the sale leaders to provide analysis and insights to help formulate short and long-term plans.Act as a business partner by providing financial guidance to all levels of management around reports, analytics, strategic plans and targets.Collaborate with offshore finance resources, and non-finance teams within the organization.Oversee month-end G/L entries, closing and reporting procedures to ensure timely and GAAP compliant revenue recognitionAssists with special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed.MINIMUM SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTSBachelors degree required2 years of experience desiredFP&A experience (Forecasting, Planning and Analysis) is required Good communication and interpersonal skillsExperience presenting financials to managementCritical thinking and leadership skillsHigh proficiency in MS Excel and AccessExperience in Workday GL and TM1 a plusWe offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.
