The Fund Accounting
Operations Analyst will be responsible for ensuring high quality NAV
delivery. The successful candidate will
partner with other lines of business and offshore partners providing oversight
and support of daily production with an overall focus on accurate and timely
delivery of daily NAVs.
Key
Responsibilities
Producing
accurate and timely Net Asset ValuesProducing
ad hoc reports for clientsPerforming
quality assurance checks on information received internally from other
supporting functionsWorking
closely with clients to resolve queriesCreating,
maintaining and updating procedures for the fundsEnsuring
compliance with all controls and procedures outlined in the procedures manual
and general company policiesWorking
closely with the new business team and clients through the on-boarding processEnsuring
all schedule work is completed by agreed deadlines, checklists are signed and
files contain all required supporting documentsWorking
with investment operations, reconciliations, shareholder services and financial
reporting teams internally to agree internal deadlines to ensure external
client deadlines are metIdentifying
efficiencies and areas for improvement to reduce risk and become more efficient
Providing
a premier client service by building strong relationships with the investment
manager and any other third partiesDeveloping
a thorough knowledge of your client base, prospectus, documentation, etc.

Qualifications
2-7
years of experience in Fund Administration OperationsHave
a thorough understanding of the theoretical and technical nature of mutual fund
accounting and administrationStrong
technical skills including accounting principles and theoriesAbility
to be effective in a global operating environment and a matrix management
organizationsExcellent
communication, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to develop
and maintain collaborative relationships both internally and with external
clientsAnalytical
skills, problem solving, good critical thinking and decision-making skillsExperience
working across multiple business areas and/or functions to deliver resultsExcellent
verbal and written communication skills; executive presentation skillsAbility
to work independently and multitask in a fast paced environmentRelationship
building skills - develop internal and external partnerships to drive resultsExpert
use of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and ability to present
