Aon is looking for a Tax Insurance AnalystOur North America Transaction Solutions team is looking to add an analyst to our industry-leading team. This role will have an important and direct impact on the financial results of this dynamic, fast-growing and high-profile business. The Transaction Solutions team focuses on negotiation and placement of insurance solutions for Mergers & Acquisitions and other corporate transactions, including Representations & Warranties, Tax, Litigation/Contingent Liability insurance. Aon is the leading broker of tax insurance in North America. The tax team is part of the Transaction Solutions team and is staffed by former practicing tax lawyers and supported by a strong team of junior brokers and analysts. We are looking for an entry/mid-level Analyst to focus on Tax insurance and assist the senior team members track and analyze data, support process and deliverables in insurance placements, and ultimately serve in a junior broker capacity. This position will also gain exposure to Representations & Warranties and Litigation insurance as well as our global colleagues for a well-rounded career experience across the full M&A solution set.Your impact as an AnalystJob Responsibilities:Support junior and senior brokers on day-to-day deal tasks and other long-term projectsPrepare analyses for private equity and corporate clients and insurance carrier meetingsComplete ad-hoc business development and innovation initiativesConduct benchmarking and track economic and market developmentsYou Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired Experience:Prior Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics Coursework or Internship ExperienceSkilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPointAbility to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimal supervisionEffective presentation, reporting and communication skillsHighly organized with attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multi-taskAbility to attain a Broker’s License in first year of employmentEducation:BS or BA required (degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science or related field preferred)We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
