Description

The Lead, Portfolio Management collaborates with the business portfolio team to align the IT portfolio and demand. The Lead, Portfolio Management works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

The Lead, Portfolio Management is a critical member of the Retail Actuarial, Sr. Products, Marketing and Communications IT team with accountability for Portfolio Financial Management, Portfolio Governance and Operations, and Business Partnerships; ultimately ensuring the assigned IT investment portfolios are maximizing the value delivered to Humana's members. In this role, you will maximize the value of IT investments through leading, organizing, and prioritizing investments in projects and programs and applying your deep understanding and passion for how Humana's business & IT strategies and deliveries can maximize our member's customer experience.

Leads Assigned Portfolio Strategy, Governance, Prioritization, Execution, Reporting, and Financial Management

Defines and Reports on Objectives and Key Results for Each Portfolio/Capability

Partners Closely with Business Leaders to Create/Maintain an Evergreen Multi-Year Portfolio Strategic Plan and Roadmap

Ensures Assigned Portfolios are Delivering Planned Value, Proactively Mitigating Where Necessary

Accountable for Intake, Evaluation, and Demand Management for New Opportunities

Be a Champion and Leader to Peers for Education, Engagement, and Planning Processes

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

5 years of IT experience

A passion for IT portfolio management

Advanced Excel skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail

Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders

Advanced experience leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements and trend reports

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or other Advanced Degree

3 or more years of technical experience

Passion for agile ways of working and product funding models of portfolio management

Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes

PMP and/or SAFE certification

Additional Information

Associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster, or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.

If progressed to offer, candidates will be required to:

Provide proof of full vaccination, including booster OR

Provide proof of applicable exemption including any required supporting documentation

Medical, religious, and state exemptions will be available.
