Description
The Senior Compensation Professional develops, implements, and administers compensation programs. The Senior Compensation Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Senior Compensation Professional is a role that requires a highly motivated and intellectually agile individual. In addition to leveraging your analytical and technical skills, you will be asked to apply business and finance acumen as well as organizational/behavioral comprehension to complex business challenges. Through diligent observation, participation and research, you will develop an understanding of business needs and objectives and then assimilate and evaluate information to generate insights and guidance within the organization. This role will be supporting Clinical and Pharmacy Solutions, the Home Business, and the Care Delivery Organization.
The Senior Compensation Professional will support a team of Compensation Leads including such things as:
Advise and influence aligned business leaders and recommend options that further our compensation philosophies
Review changes in wages and salaries for conformance to policy
Audit evaluation of positions and application of existing classifications to individuals
Conduct analysis of external market to ensure market competitiveness of aligned organizations.
Act as liaison between compensation, sales compensation, and sales leadership to provide guidance on plan design including pay mix, metrics, weights, and plan mechanics
Collaborate with the business on updating targeted incentive plans year over year, updating plan documentation, communication, etc. and own end to end on targeted incentive plans outside of AIP
Manage communication strategy for local/state minimum wage updates and Federal Contractor Minimum Wage updates with the business leaders, finance leaders, and associates.
Adhoc assistance with integration activities for all acquisitions, including due diligence activities, job mappings, reporting, audits, etc.
Exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and work under minimal supervision
Required Qualifications
Strong business acumen
Ability to tell a story, draw insights and make recommendations utilizing data
Deep analytical reporting experience
Experience using Microsoft Office products
Strong research and problem solving abilities
Dedication to accuracy and strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a deadline-driven organization
Previous experience working within a team-based atmosphere with shared responsibility
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects/assignments while working with various departments to obtain data
Highly organized and self-driven with an ability to meet multiple deadlines
Proven consultation skills in a business-facing role
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or Human Resources or another similar field.
Experience in evaluating role/job structures and developing recommendations to meet business objectives
Compensation experience; experience designing compensation programs
Previous Workday experience
Organizational development experience
HR Business Partner experience
Directly applicable knowledge of the health solutions industry
Progressive business/HR consulting and/or operational experience
Prior experience analyzing data and metrics to implement change in departmental processes
Experience advising leaders on complex business challenges
