IBKR is looking for Senior Proposal Manager experienced in leading preparing proposal responses. This is a critical role in obtaining new business and requires strong organization, project management, communications, and writing skills, and an understanding of the company's service offerings, markets, and processes.
What will you do?
Lead RFI and RFP responses including developing outlines, schedules, and compliance matrices.
Work with designated team members on review process.
Support content development including:
Combining input from various sources to create compelling documents with a single voice that flows and provides a logical progression through the topic.
Interviewing subject matter experts to obtain necessary information to draft content.
Leverage previously developed content to generate new responses/language for reuse in proposal development.
Review, organize, and edit written documentation to improve clarity.
Participate with RFI and RFP follow up meetings.
What you will need to have:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Public Administration or related field
Minimum of 5 years experience in proposal development for government contractors
Background in writing, managing, and coordinating responses to requests for information, and technical and non-technical data calls.
High proficiency in writing responses to RFPs and RFIs.
Solid research skills and the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts, practices, and specialized vocabulary of various technical fields
Ability to integrate knowledge from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and relevant company capabilities and past performance
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments
Ability to work well under tight deadlines and effectively interact with a wide range of personnel, from executive to administrative staff
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to verbally convey technical concepts in clear, concise and understandable terms is also required
Strong experience with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred
Prior Financial Industry experience.
Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Certification
