The Medical/Financial Risk Evaluation Professional 2 is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and monitoring of medical/financial risk. The Medical/Financial Risk Evaluation Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Where you Come In
The Medical/Financial Risk Evaluation Professional 2 will focus on dental claims to identify fraud. This position assesses and mitigates any medical or financial risk that arises from inadequate or failed processes, people, systems, or external events. Maintains a balance between risk mitigation and efficiency.
Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications - What it takes to Succeed
Minimum 1 year certified dental coding (AAPC - CDC) OR dental clinical experience
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (analysis and pivot tables)
Excellent independent judgement and decision making ability for complex issues
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Capacity to maintain confidentiality
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Experience creating and presenting information to diverse audiences including senior leaders
Comfortable working in self-directed self-motivated environment
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED or job related certification
Bachelors Degree
2 years of Humana Experience
Knowledge of Humana Medical and Pharmacy Claims Processing Systems
Experience with SQL
Knowledge of data visualization tools ex: qlikview, tableau
Knowledge of dental claims and benefits
