Job Summary:

The position of Senior Financial Analyst is a member of the Consolidations and Financial Reporting organization and is instrumental in supporting our management team, ensuring the delivery of BMS’s consolidated financial statements. This position requires attention to detail, with an ability to communicate meaningful business results to various audiences of all levels. The Senior Financial Analyst will have hands-on involvement with BMS’s monthly, quarterly and yearly close and financial reporting processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be an individual with a vast understanding of:

US accounting principles, month-end close processes

Consolidations of foreign entities including a detailed understanding of intercompany transactions and eliminations

Formulate consolidated financial statements, including intercompany eliminations, and ensuring that measurement and translation of foreign subsidiary’s results is accurate

Assemble monthly financial analysis in consolidation and by entity, providing variance analysis and commentary

Assist with year-end and interim external audits including preparation of supporting schedules to the financial statements, documentation of processes and procedures, responding to auditor queries, etc.

Assisting special projects, Ad hoc analysis and other requests from management.

Assist in preparation of monthly quarterly and annual consolidating financial statements and account analyses.

Support the regional and market financial directors to provide accounting and reporting guidance and resolve issues presented.

Education/Qualifications:

Required:

3-5 years of a combination of public /private experience. With private industry focus on financial reporting, planning and month end close processes.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

CPA preferred.

Strong consolidations, foreign currency re-measurement and translation, and intercompany eliminations experience is ideal.

PC proficiency (Excel, Word, Power point) and SAP and SAP Business Consolidation Systems (BCS) a plus

Strong collaborative skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Should have ability to prioritize and manage workloads and exercise a high degree of adaptability, when working in a complex work environment.

Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills

Team player and process oriented.

Strong verbal communication skills and presentation skills

Ability to work independently and be self-motivated

Must be highly organized, accurate and detail-oriented, ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously with the work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent communication skills, ability to work well with all levels and departments within the company
