Associate - Application Support','200032005','!*! Responsible for coordinating with Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) team on monthly hygiene activities, including Production Lifecycle Management patching and Uptime violation reboots of Unix hosts. Responsible for setting up Application / Infrastructure and monitoring tools: Geneos and OEM (Oracle Enterprise Management), supporting proactively issues, and monitoring. Provide Problem Management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of the P1 (Priority 1) incidents occurring within the application space. Work with the PAC (Production Assurance Center / Command Center) team to create proper action items on the RCA, as well as supporting long term resolution. Work on the Change Management process and create Change Documents that have the specific task details of required production fixes. Complete risk assessment and determine the severity of the change. Undergo various Automation projects to make an application more stable and reduce probability of human errors, while also reducing the turnaround time of any issue. Support Data Center Migration projects, coordinating with various teams for month long activities, implementing new improved infrastructure, and porting applications. Work on BC/DR (Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery) and SR (Sustained Resiliency) activities, including transferring applications between Production and Disaster Recovery environments in specified RTO (Recovery Time Objective). Generate periodic operation metrics for database and server utilization reports to determine the health check of the environment. Work closely with Operations and Business Partners to understand the daily issues and requirements on a daily basis, coordinating complex client migration projects. Provide hands-on technical support for both internal and external client functionality. Ensure potential client impacting incidents are identified and remediated prior to client impact and remediated as soon as possible after issues arises. Drive continuous improvement of services and processes in order to increase platform stability and improve operational efficiencies. ','!*!Experience with Informatica PowerExchange preferred. Must have demonstrated knowledge of UNIX. Must have experience with Unix shell scripting or Perl. Must have experience with Oracle, SQL, Stored Procedures/Views. Must have experience with Java technologies (Java/J2EE). Must have experience working with scheduling tools including Control-M or Autosys. Must have ability to diagnose MQSeries connectivity issues in a multi-platform (Unix/midrange/mainframe) environment. Must have experience in IT service management tools including incident management and problem management, such as HP Service Manager.
