Summary :
The Senior Financial Analyst position is a leading role with growth potential in the Finance organization. The candidate will be part of the Prepared Foods Finance group, which represents more than $8B in annual net sales for Tyson Foods.
This individual will be responsible for the month-end close reporting, monthly estimate and R&O forecasting, annual budget (AOP) and strategic long-range plan (SP), as well as supporting Innovation initiatives including those requiring capital expenditure on the Hillshire Brands business. Other essential responsibilities will include monthly variance analysis, helping to maintain a sound governance and controls environment, and an expectation to present results & analyses supporting business decisions to cross-functional partners on a regular basis. Previous Business Unit/Brand or Supply Chain finance experience within a CPG company is preferred.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required; MBA a plus
3 years experience in Finance; CPG experience a plus
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Advanced MS Excel skills a plus.
Strong communication, organization, data accuracy, problem-solving, and presentation skills
Experience with SAP, Analysis for Excel (AFE), and Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) desired. Experience with any other financial planning software (ex: Hyperion, Anaplan) also a plus.
