SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

The Revenue Accounting Analyst is responsible for monthly and

quarterly close activities for revenue, providing transactional data

analysis, prepare reports for management, and partner with cross-functional

teams including Sales-Ops, Operations, and Product Management.

We are looking for a high-energy, hands-on individual that can work

independently and think critically. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s

Degree in Accounting or Finance, and knowledge of Revenue Accounting (ASC 606). The candidate must have organization and communication skills, be detail-oriented, have a strong level of business acumen, and be results-oriented.

Duties:

Ensure revenue recognition in company financials is in accordance with US

GAAP

Interpret revenue arrangements, assess and summarize revenue implications, and document conclusions on revenue recognition treatment in accordance with US GAAP

Perform monthly revenue accounting close efforts, including reconciliation procedures, controls, and preparation/review of auditable workpapers

Daily monitoring and reviews of revenue transaction and approvals of non-standard requests such as assessment of payment terms, return rights, etc.

Assist in building process documents of close areas of ownership

Provide support for ad-hoc projects

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

At least 2 years of public company revenue recognition experience highly

desired

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant revenue accounting experience

Working knowledge of Revenue Recognition Accounting

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with advanced Excel skills

Strong leadership skills and high degree of business proficiency and

judgment is essential

Ability to analyze transactions from an accounting and economic perspective

Excellent problem-solving and strong analytical skills

Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills across multiple levels,

functions, and locations

Experience with NetSuite, SFDC, SQL, and Tableau highly desired
