Summary :

The Finance Manager position is a leading role within the Finance organization. The candidate will be part of the Prepared Foods Finance group, which represents more than $8B in annual net sales for Tyson Foods . The Manager must be able to work in a dynamic environment and deliver efficient reporting and quality insights to drive financial performance. The Manager must bring a continuous improvement mindset to business operations and processes. Day to day accountabilities include the monthly forecasting and strategic planning processes as well as supporting innovation initiatives including those requiring capital expenditure. Other essential responsibilities will include monthly variance analysis, tasks involving multiple BUs, helping to maintain sound governance and controls environment and presenting results to leadership on a regular basis. This individual should expect to work in close coordination with cross-functional partners. Previous business unit or supply chain finance experience within a CPG company is preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop financial plans and strategies to drive profitable and sustainable growth

Own monthly forecasting process for the Business Unit

Identify risks, opportunities and mitigation plans to deliver financial results

Partner across Finance to reduce the amount of time spent on non-value-added work

Develop business case recommendations, financial models and analyze financial impact of growth and cost saving initiatives

Ensure compliance with external reporting and internal policies and controls

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required; MBA a plus

5 years experience in Finance; CPG experience a plus

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Advanced MS Excel skills a plus.

Strong communication organization data accuracy problem-solving and presentation skills

Experience with SAP, Analysis for Excel (AFE), and Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) desired.
