Work you’ll do

As a Solution Senior Consultant within our Analytics team, you will:

• Facilitate use of technology-based risk assessment tools or methodologies to review, design and implement solutions

• Participate in and/or lead the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the client and contract

• Anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issues

• Review deliverables for accuracy and quality

• Provides coaching to junior staff

• Contributes to new business proposals and proposal development

• Manage own personal and professional development; seek opportunities for professional growth and expansion of consulting skills and experience

• Produce user stories, workflows, prototypes, designs, data maps, and/or process maps to document the functionality and operation of all features

• Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications

• Actively participate in planning activities for all software development functions including development, testing, release, and acceptance work

• Work with Quality Assurance team member(s) to identify test cases

• Work with Product Owner in refinement of product backlog items from stakeholders

• Coordinate with business customers to conduct product integration testing and user acceptance testing

• Adhere to internal policies and procedures around the software development life cycle and the agile processes

• Recommend controls by proactively identifying problems and suggested solutions

• Interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making

• Develop and facilitate stakeholder and end-user training materials and sessions

• Work with a geographically disbursed team, especially offshore resources

Advisory Analytics mitigates current and future risk for our GPS clients across several industries, spanning from finance and audit readiness to forensics and healthcare. With a creative and innovative approach, our Analytics team exposes our clients’ risks and provides recommendations to improve the quality of data. We collaborate closely with government agencies, accountants, IT professionals, and clients to produce analyses in support of risk consulting engagements.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics disciplines, or related area

• 2 years of experience with data quality analysis, statistical analysis and/or modeling, financial or cost analysis, internal controls, and/or external/internal financial audit

• Experience mining and analyzing transactional electronic data with competency in one or more of the following: SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, ACP, IDEA Tableau, MATLAB, Visual Basic, Business Intelligence, Hadoop or Alteryx

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment

• Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, information technology or systems analysis

• Ability to document business rules and technical processes into logical structures and diagrams

• Experience working with enterprise software products and complex business processes

• Demonstrated aptitude for gathering and documenting business requirements, working with stakeholders to review requirements, and reviewing technology designs to confirm that business requirements coded correctly

Preferred:

• MBA

• 2 years of experience working in a Scrum or Agile environment preferred

• Experience in the healthcare and benefits space
