Role Overview: Venture Capital Investment Manager
We are seeking to hire an investment professional to play an integral leadership role on our Investment Management team. This role will be a key part of the Corporation Development team based in Louisville or Washington DC.
The Venture Capital Investment Manager analyzes primarily VC investments, and recommends appropriate investments. The Venture Capital Investment Manager will be responsible for supporting all aspects of portfolio management related activities, as well as deriving insights to help formulate our VC investment strategy. This person will be responsible for executing VC investments, owning the portfolio reporting, completing and executing portfolio related transactions, and leading work on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the deal process including sourcing opportunities, completing rigorous Due Diligence, building financial models
Supporting the execution of the team's core portfolio management activities, while also providing insights to support the strategic direction of the VC investments and other minority investments
Providing oversight on all portfolio reporting operations & the completion of quarterly portfolio review processes (ex. impairment, mark-to-market)
Preparing portfolio updates for senior management & other collaborators
Analyzing data from the portfolio, market, and industry to help formulate investment strategy for the Ventures team

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
4-6 years previous experience, must include Management Consulting, Investment Banking or VC/PE experience
The role is a multi-faceted one and requires project management, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint applications
Ability to develop, implement, & manage repeatable processes
Proven ability to influence and collaborate with others to drive results
Comfortable working with large data sets & synthesizing insights
Interest in Venture Capital and the startup ecosystem
