Manager, Pricing – Poultry

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for analyzing internal and external factors and recommending trade strategy to support attainment of short- and long-term financial goals; assesses competitive landscape and determine optimal revenue management strategy to support key business goals; leads RFP and contract negotiations with Sales. This position will have frequent interactions with sales, business units, finance, SS&P and SS&E Teams.

Additional requirements include: develop and lead sales channel revenue management strategy; conducts financial and competitive analyses to ascertain the most appropriate trade strategies and pricing in the various channels and market segments; develops and educates on trade tools, policies and procedures that take in consideration the company's business objectives, brand equity, financial requirements. Implements pricing strategies, policies, and procedures. Owns trade strategy to achieve plan; other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business-related field.

Experience: 5 year's relatable experience in finance, marketing, revenue, pricing, or trade management; Foodservice or CPG experience required.

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel skills; SAP & Forge Blacksmith preferred

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; proven negotiation skills; ability to lead complex customer negotiations of pricing and trade spend.

Special Skills: Proven leadership and collaboration skills; ability to influence and build consensus across teams; strong business acumen - understands the industry, competition, market trends and Net Revenue to Green Weight (NRGW) methodology. Uses market analysis to generate strategic recommendations that support sales in delivering profitable growth.

Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problems-solving skills. Ability to think creatively on win-win solutions for Tyson and Customers.
