Information Security Risk Analyst

LendingTree is continuing to grow its Information Security team with the addition of an Information Security

Risk Management Analyst. This position will perform a variety of security related tasks such as, but not limited to, managing, and documenting identified risk, compiling vulnerabilities from various security assessments, and monitoring risk management activities, along with partner with compliance to address all corporate compliance requirements.

Successful candidates will be exposed to a wide array of security tools, systems, methodologies, and mentorship that will rapidly escalate technical understanding and ability in the Information Security field.

Responsibilities

Enhance LendingTree’s Third-Party Risk Management Program under the direction of the senior InfoSec team members.

Ensure risk is being managed throughout third-party life cycle (planning, due diligence, contract, transitions, on-going monitoring, and exit).

Responsible for performing third-party risk assessment and analyzing the risk level of third-party engagement both for new and existing vendors (as part of ongoing review and update cycles).

Monitor, analyze and maintain third-party information and documentation.

Perform a periodic IT Risk Assessments while partnering with multiple departments in line with regulatory requirements to assess risk across all business units.

Author risk narrative to communicate what key risks are for an engagement or vendor, and support why a certain risk level has been assigned.

Use strong understanding of risk topics and ‘risk mindset’ to actively challenge inputs

Assist with maintaining the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) program.

Assist with IT Risk reporting to the key stakeholders at Lending Tree.

Identify specific IT Risk observation and work with affected parties to classify and address risk issues

Qualifications

Requires a degree in Business, Finance or related Experience in IT Risk Management or equivalent experience or certification.

5 years of combined experience in IT operations management with a financial institution or related field.

Experience in risk management, audit and/or compliance role.

Strong knowledge of third-party assessments, IT Risk management, regulatory requirements and compliance.

Excellent analytical skills especially in risk assessment analysis.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written and an ability to interact with all level of management.
