Provides financial reporting, analysis and other support to SS&P and GPS Finance business partners.
Job Description:
Internal consultant to SS&P and GPS business partners by providing objective financial analysis and guidance.
Validation and reporting ofsynergy savings Impacting standard cost, indirect spend and capital projects in collaboration with external consulting firms(MK, ACCN, GEP)
Standard cost budgeting and forecasting (P1/P2) of third party materials and toll fees
Integration of hCelgene standard cost into BMS processes and tools
Monthly analysis and reporting of 3rd party purchase price variances
Analysis and support of sourcing decisions, financial support of long and short term category strategies
Analysis and reporting of financial outcomes of strategic negotiations.
Prepare presentations/dashboards for senior management review
Building and implementation of new analysis and reporting capabilities in collaboration with BI&A
Supplier solvency and audits support
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA/CPA preferred
10 years of experience in accounting or finance positions with proven upward progression
Strong analytical, quantitative and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload
Good command of accounting and understanding of internal controls
Knowledge/understanding of cost accounting is a plus
Strong business partnering skills. Ability to build relationships and proven ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal finance and procurement partners as well as external consultants
Financial systems experience including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) & SAP, TM1, Ariba
