Our NIKE Supply Chain Product Management team (SCP) is looking for a Director of Product Operations & Excellence to help level up our game in product management maturity and consistent performance across the entire organization. This is a critical role that will directly impact multiple product domains, and strategically shape how we align and implement our end-to-end product offense in service of critical business outcomes.
In this role, you will work with a complementary team of Supply Chain business teams (Global & Geo), Digital, Tech, and Finance partners and this role directly leads a team responsible for Product Strategy, Product Excellence/Governance, Ways of Working, Communications, and Team Operations.
You will ensure the Supply Chain Product Portfolio is strategically aligned, appropriately prioritized, and clearly resourced and financed. You will be accountable to develop and deliver high-impact standards and processes, tools and reporting to effectively align and communicate plans within our team and with cross-functional partners. Ultimately, with a keen awareness for dependencies and experience at risk management, you will guide teams to maintain financial forecasts and actuals, report consistently and with quality on the health of strategic product priorities and ensure value delivery against committed outcomes.
As the leader of Product Excellence, you will be accountable for defining and driving our team’s growth and strategy, ensuring a keen focus on up-leveling the quality, efficiency and consistency in the way our entire organization leads the product development lifecycle (funnel reviews, expected outcome modeling, MBRs/QBRs with partners, etc.) for the 80 products in the product portfolio.
As the leader of Business Operations, you will anchor the broader Supply Chain Product Management organization in a structure for objective definition and key results tracking (OKRs). You will ensure that the organization has clear definitions and measures of success and will lead consistent and continuous processes for tuning performance. In addition, you will lead all aspects of our financial processes (including headcount and budget management) and ensure we understand how we are proactively making strategic decisions as a leadership team to lead business expectations.
As the leader of Supply Chain Product Communications, you will understand our broader partner landscape and collaborate with Communications partners to ensure messaging is consistent with our parent organization as well as cohesive across the broader Product organization. You are oriented to high-impact messaging that comes from a place of understanding our customer – whether that be our own team or a variety of Enterprise partners.
You are a champion of all things team and positivity. You will have a critical voice in building organizational energy and engagement and will craft and lead an intentional offense that ensures we are engaging with, hearing, and supporting team members as a top priority.
Lastly, you will act as the Chief of Staff to the leader of Supply Chain Product Management, shaping and orchestrating critical team activities and results including monthly leadership team workdays, leadership staff meetings, all-hands, etc.
This role requires a self-starter, flexible problem solver, highly organized leader, and outstanding communicator who has experience working across teams with varied strengths and influencing different personalities and perspectives to support the strategic outcomes the organization is accountable to deliver. A consistent track record of aligning organizations to provide clarity and build efficiencies is preferred. A growth mindset and optimistic outlook is paramount to energize and strengthen team members who are on the front lines of driving large-scale change in a fast-paced environment. Lastly, experience leading and developing product management teams and a strong understanding of industry standard methodologies.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Define and lead Supply Chain Product’s “Rhythm of Business” - team cadences for running our business holistically (business goals, teaming and people, financials, product governance, etc)
Lead annual & quarterly planning & performance review processes such as OKRs, QBRs, etc
Ensure strategic priorities are structured for success, including strategic fit, budgeting, dependencies, and resourcing
Drive and lead product portfolio plans and financial forecast including all key landmarks/results/value drops, facilitate intake process, resourcing, dependencies, concerns, and communications
Collaborate with Enterprise partners to evaluate the performance of the product portfolio and ensure the process is continually evaluated (checked & adjusted) to meet the changing complexity and scope of the organization accountabilities
Develop Supply Chain Product Communication Strategy & Activation Plan to engage the organization in understanding, owning, & feeling confident in the Supply Chain Product journey
Create high-impact communications to ensure connection with team members and collaborators across Supply Chain Product
Lead financial forecasts (including 3 yr views) and actual performance against target reporting
Provide direct leadership, coaching and support to a team of full-time employees and contractors
