Description

The Director, Channel Development defines the sales product strategy for Medicare Supplement.

Responsibilities

The Director, Channel Development develops key performance indicators to drive sales program effectiveness and to ensure cost efficiencies. In particular, this role will focus on creating and enhancing strategies with internal and external distribution partners to increase Medicare Supplement market positioning.

Develop go-to-market strategies and identify new business opportunities to increase overall sales portfolio

Identify key areas of improvement through trend and utilization analysis

Collaborate closely with business leaders, marketing, and finance to ensure effective, strategic, and competitive sales plans

Provide data-driven expertise and management reporting to improve sales performance and increase market share

Lead and implement branding opportunities to support the Medicare Supplement product line

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a background in developing and implementing successful sales strategies. They will possess high accountability for results, along with strong organization skills.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related field

Progressive high-performing sales and account management experience in the health solutions industry

Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a large geographical territory

Strong communication and facilitation skills with proven track record of engaging with senior leaders and key partners

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree of Business Administration or a related field

Medicare Supplement product experience

Additional Information

Travel can fluctuate, but may be 15 - 20% at times

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
