Responsibilities
The Lead, Lean Portfolio Management works closely with Product Management, Architecture and Finance to understand the portfolio of current-year, and proposed (1-3 year), work to ensure that appropriate investments are made, and value hypotheses are realized. Further, this person will be instrumental in driving transformation from project-based to product-based financial forecasting and actuals.
This position is part of the glue that keeps leadership, architecture, product, budget, and execution aligned on priorities and value realization.
In addition, this lead role will assist in orchestrating our storytelling (through meaningful metrics and OKRs) to leaders as to the value the organization is delivering while coaching the organization in lean portfolio management agile (SAFe aligned) processes and ways of working.
Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
2 or more years of program leadership experience
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders
Advanced experience leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements and trend reports
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or other Advanced Degree
Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes
Six Sigma certification
Scaled Agile (SAFe) Lean Portfolio Management certification

Vaccine Policy

Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
