Job Details:

SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to provide holistic financial planning and corporate strategic development support to achieve business, financial, and strategic objectives as established with the Director of Financial Planning, VP Finance, and Executive Management. Responsibilities include: administer and continuously improve the planning process which includes strategic plan, annual operating plan, annual metrics, and rolling projections; develop and maintain quarterly finance and rating agency models and present and lead quarterly review with CFO, CAO, Treasurer and Finance team; develop and maintain internal financial communication for Board of Directors and Quarterly Financial Business Reviews; assist in business analysis reporting and various financial analysis projects (business improvement, mergers and acquisitions, competitive analysis, benchmarking, etc.); other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Experience: 6 years of experience in a financial field with experience in budgeting/planning/projections of multi-faceted business entities and financial modeling preferred.

Computer Skills: Requires intermediate computer skills; advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; and Tableau and Anaplan skills preferred.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively interact with key management leadership at all levels.

Special Skills: Strong working knowledge of the Tyson budget/planning/projection and strategic planning process; advanced financial modeling skills including complete understanding of the financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flows); understanding the mechanics of relevant financial statement ratios (Sales, Operations, Profitability, Liquidity, Debt ratios) preferred.
