The Senior Manager of IT Finance and Accounting will play a strategic role within our IT organization in the creation and implementation of standard processes and tools for technical design testing release management systems support and resource planning. This role a business facing role that will engage with leaders across the Finance organization to understand the key business drivers. As a senior manager you will be directly managing technical analysts and project managers that span across multiple disciplines. Top candidates for this position will combine strengths in process definition and optimization technical design governance strategic planning people leadership and project management.
Responsibilities:
Inspire and lead a team of IT analysts and project managers through a growth and continuous improvement mindset
Define implement and manage processes and governance in the areas of technical design testing release management and support.
Drive standards in the use of wireframes mock-ups and other design tools with an emphasis on user centered design UCD.
Lead the definition of key performance indicators KPI in relation to systems management and prepare and report out on dashboards around our key metrics.
Facilitate resource planning in partnership with your peer managers for the technical resources across our organization. Inspire and lead your team to take on a continuous improvement mentality.
Invests in regular and ad-hoc coaching sessions providing near real-time performance feedback.
Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations.
Initiate open and candid coaching conversations at all levels.
Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail.
Proactively anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in management information systems MIS Computer Science or related field Preferred.
Experience:
8 plus year of industry experience in Information Systems or advanced degree.
4 plus years progressive experience in a leadership role.
Strong functional expertise in several SAP Finance S/4 areas including General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Product Costing/Actual Costing/Material Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Financial & Master Data Management
Demonstrates ability to execute an SAP financials-focused roadmap projects including delivery estimates and quantifiable value case
Strong financial acumen in leading SAP transformation programs across process, technology and people enablement
Extensive-level experience and a proven record of success leading diverse teams in configuration and implementation of FICO, Financial Share Services, Financial Reporting & FPA
Ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels of the organization
Excellent leadership and people skills
Skilled in Project Management using a variety of system lifecycle methodologies
Experience with SAP S/4 FI/CO, Fixed Assets and Profitability, SAP Tax and Treasury Management, SAP Accounts Payable, SAP Accounts Receivable and FSCM HighRadius, SAP Sales and Distribution/Billing, Product Costing and Material Ledger
Experience with SAP ABAP, SAP IDOC and SAP UI5/Fiori, and familiarity with SAP BPC Embedded and Classic versions
Understanding of SaaS solution implementation approaches in the financial and procurement spaces, as well as cloud development tools and techniques
Understanding of AWS, GCP and Azure Cloud tools
Special Skills:
Experience having worked in ambiguous environments where you have helped bring clarity and predictability through the use of processes standards and governance.
Proven ability to mentor and develop team members to grow their impact on the organization and achieve their personal career goals.
Project management experience e.g. creating business cases resource planning risk management budgeting project planning execution.
Track record of building strong relationships with leadership peers and partners in order to collectively deliver on our overall organizational strategies.
Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to operate within complex situations break them down and work with others to define the path out.
Strong presentation skills.
Computer Skills:
Significant experience utilizing MS Excel and PowerPoint
Communication Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally with customers, peers and management required.
