Working within the Planning & Analytics Office (PAO), you will play a key role in the Business Intelligence team and provide expert knowledge that supports the strategic direction of the department and University. You will contribute to the BI, analytics and reporting activity of PAO including the provision of data analytics and reporting to inform the University Planning Cycle. You will have proven experience in BI visualisation tools and proficiency in analytical methods and data manipulation. Ideally you will possess a degree in a quantitative discipline, you will have significant experience of working in a Business Intelligence related role, with the ability to effectively convey complicated information in a variety of clear, concise and meaningful formats. You should have expert working knowledge of at least one visualisation tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and experience of working in higher education will be advantageous but not essential as key skills will be transferable. Based on the Plymouth campus the role offers excellent personal development opportunities on Microsoft BI technologies and provides very generous annual leave of 43 days including public holidays. You will be joining a team of experienced BI professionals who enjoy sharing best practise and embrace new ideas on innovative approaches to data visualisation.
