Description
Our Enterprise Information Protection team is seeking a Strategic Portfolio Management Lead who is passionate about delivering value to our customers and has broad experience developing strategy and outcome-driven goals, bridging the gap between strategy and execution, and prioritizing and aligning resources to accomplish these goals. They will have the unique benefit of collaborating across the whole spectrum of our cyber security organization and directly contributing to goals with Board-level visibility.
The Strategic Portfolio Management Lead will be responsible for developing measurable strategic security objectives, aligning the necessary resources to achieve these strategic objectives, and overseeing that we deliver the right value for Humana at the right time.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Participates in on-going strategic planning, development, and management of our multi-year, enterprise wide security strategy and roadmaps
Collaborates with cross-functional leadership and teams to develop longer and shorter term strategic and measurable security outcomes
Ensures the appropriate financial, organizational, and execution support is allocated to support those outcomes
Tracks, monitors, and reports on the health of the strategic portfolio to drive visibility and ensure that our investments are delivering the right value for Humana at the right time
Prepares data analyses and presentations in support of our periodic executive strategy and portfolio updates to audiences such as the Board of Directors, Management Team, and IT Executive Leadership Team
Remains current on internal and external strategic inputs including business, IT, and security strategies, peer benchmarking, cyber risks and compliance needs, evolving threat landscape, and emerging technology trends
Evangelizes our commitment to outcomes-centric goals and our focus on top priorities
Above all else, fosters and models a collaborative team environment driven to build phenomenal solutions while having fun
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
Demonstrated experience developing outcome-centric strategic goals (e.g., objectives and key results) and roadmaps
Prior experience working in Lean-Agile teams and environments
Experience leading cross functional teams, programs, and directing allocation of resources
Strong leadership skills and track record of strategic planning and portfolio management in high visibility areas
Change leadership - demonstrated success promoting change by helping others to change and remove barriers
Consulting skills - able to assimilate business knowledge and knowledge of internal customer's unique needs/situation
Analytical skills to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements
Influencing Skills - ability to influence others at multiple organizational levels, to lead and work in a team environment; ability to lead collaborative efforts
Strategic communicator - able to simplify the complex with proven experience presenting to top level executives
Preferred Qualifications
Industry security certification (e.g., CISSP)
Industry Agile certification (e.g., SAFe Agilist)
Industry project management certification (e.g., PMP)
Industry cloud certification (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner)
Knowledge or experience leading security maturity efforts (e.g., leveraging CMMI)
Prior experience with security strategy development or security portfolio management
