Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

Leadership of the commercial analytics platform for GE Gas Power, which provides global intelligence and insight into Commercial performance of the business. Oversight over the development and maintenance of dashboards on the Salesforce.com Wave platform which leverage Commercial data from salesforce.com. Dashboards include those focused on Commercial pacing (Sales team’s progress towards business operating targets), Install Base management (tracking customer equipment & key activity like equipment outages), Win/Loss Analysis (performance of Gas Power in the market & against Competition) and Data Quality (health of commercial data in core systems). Overall leadership of the design team to develop new solutions for ongoing analytics challenges, e.g. variance over time views of the health of the commercial pipeline, key campaign progressing, etc. Serve as functional leader for key data architecture considerations between the PS business including account structuring, install base management and all commercial data reporting characteristics. Partner with onshore and offshore development teams to produce new visualization dashboards as well as maintain existing ones.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent*, in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or other business related fields, and 4 years of experience in a related occupation required. *Employer will accept any suitable combination of education and experience as equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor’s degree as determined by a recognized credential evaluation service. The position also requires: 4 years of experience working in a global role which included a day to day coordination with those located in different countries/time zones and a detailed understanding of operational and financial results from varied geographic regions; 3 years of experience working with companies in an industrial industry such as manufacturing, shipping, industrial services or healthcare with both equipment and longer-term aftermarket services components; 3 years of experience working with and calculating detailed elements of financial statements including revenue recognition, financial margins and free cash flow in conjunction with commercial deal timing; 3 years of experience with either financial or data audit work, whereby models or reporting was assessed for accuracy, errors were corrected, and operational change was driven to reduce future issues; 2 years of experience with both (1) the development of a longer-term financial plan for a business unit as well (2) as the ownership of tracking business performance against that financial plan; 2 years of experience working in BOTH salesforce.com AND execution/supply chain technology systems (e.g. material planning systems, ERPs); 2 years of experience profiling/analyzing industrial industry customers and contracts for financial performance and profitability; and 2 years of experience working in a dynamic, project-based organization which required delivering quickly on changing business requirements and working across varied functions and teams as assignments changed.
