Humana's Accounting/Collection team is seeking a driven, dedicated Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Processor to join our team. The AR/AP Processor is a key team member to providing an experience which supports our customers, putting them first.

The AR/AP Processor pays vendor invoices and receives and posts customer payments on a timely basis. Maintains and reconciles accounts payable/receivable ledger accounts, financial statements and reports. Prepares analyses and reconciliations of bill runs to detect fraud. Ensures that transaction entry verification procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

The AR/AP Processor will perform data entry, maintain a large number of vendor accounts, prepares and delivers low-volume customer billing and respond to resulting queries. Decisions are typically focus on methods, tactics and processes for completing administrative tasks/projects. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques, and works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge. This position will work with a team of talented individuals who share a passion for doing great work in the best interest of our clients/vendors.

Required Qualifications

1 - 3 years of finance experience

Less than 2 years of experience leading projects, processes or people

Experience working in MS Office tools such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint Excel, Access

Experience completing accounts receivable, accounts payable or other finance/accounting procedures

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to communicate with account holders in a courteous manner

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

Experience working in Oracle

Experience completing financial analysis and reporting

Additional Information

This is a hybrid office role in Philadelphia, PA, reporting to an on-site office 1-2 times a week.

Vaccine Policy

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field. Every associate and contractor who work inside a Humana facility or in the field, regardless of vaccination status, must complete a daily health screening questionnaire.

Work-At-Home Requirements:

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
