Description

The Business Intelligence Lead solves complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. The Business Intelligence Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Responsibilities

Location: work at home anywhere

The Business Intelligence Lead will be responsible for developing a data strategy that leverages, integrates and supplements enterprise wide capabilities in support of Clinical, Pharmacy and Home Solutions teams. The Business Intelligence Lead will liaise and collaborate with other analytics / reporting teams across both HCS Risk Management and enterprise wide to develop consistent oversight tools and processes.

The Business Intelligence Lead defines the tools, technologies, applications and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present data in order to proactively identify potential risks or issues. In addition, this individual will build centralized methodologies and tools for effective compliance oversight and risk management. Utilize enterprise data to develop internal scorecards and dashboards for tracking, aggregation, visualization and production of effective risk and issue reporting.

Drive consistent Data Strategy for HCS risk management

Collect real-time data to align metrics, goals, and establish thresholds across HCS risk management

Utilize the organization's raw data to create insightful and actionable business information

Develop process automation, utilize metrics and views to identify areas of focus improvement

Consolidate critical metrics from various databases and monitoring tools to create risk focused dashboards and holistic views

Ensure data is linked to latest monitoring technology and IT data depositories

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

7 or more years of technical experience in data analysis and/or reporting

Experience creating dashboards, reports and scorecards

Experience in MS Power BI and/or Tableau and Qlikview

Expertise in data mining, forecasting, simulation, and/or predictive modeling

Advanced experience working with vast, complex data sets within large organizations

Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction

Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements between achieve the business strategy

Proficiency in understanding Healthcare related data

Proficiency in verbal/written communication to senior and executive leadership

Desired Qualifications

Master's degree Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Advanced in SQL, SAS and other data systems

Experience with data visualizations tools

Experience creating analytics solutions for various healthcare sectors

2 years or more of project leadership and/or program creation experience
