Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

Profile

Founded and led by billion-dollar investment and operations company Founder and Executive Chairman, Peter Rex, ResProp is looking for a Financial Analyst to assist with revenue management, financial modeling and analysis, and compilation of quantitative data.

Based out of Austin, TX, the Financial Analyst will assist in monitoring property performance and assist in the execution of all financial and operational decisions.

The team is looking for an organized, detail‐focused professional with sound knowledge of accounting and financial concepts to support the transactions team, operations team, and senior management. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task, work well under deadlines with high attention to detail, and require minimal direct supervision. The position will interact with many business functions as well as senior and executive management.

In year one you will:

Analyze and evaluate rent rolls and operating statements of properties to forecast performance, collaborating with Operations and other departments

Prepare/review pro forma statements and projections which accurately reflect past history of properties, as well as current and projected future market conditions

Research, analyze, and evaluate market feasibility for various real estate operations/transactions

Review and summarize tenant leases and articulate issues/concerns in a clear and effective manner

Assist in conducting site inspections and property tours (if necessary)

Gathering and evaluating economic, demographic, and real estate market data to support budgeting and pricing decisions

Compile and analyze performance data to drive operational excellence

Develop relationships in the real estate industry for the furtherance of the platform

The ideal candidate has:

Bachelor’s degree from 4-year accredited university

1-2 years of experience in financial analysis

Multifamily Real Estate experience

Underwriting and/or Budgeting Experience

Revenue Management Experience

Proficient in Microsoft suite

Ability to manage multiple deadlines
