Aon is looking for a Senior Investment Consultant (Asset/Liability team) The ALM group provides advisory investment consulting services primarily in the areas of asset liability modeling and asset allocation for institutional investors with a specific liability or cash flow requirements. Job Responsibilities:Leads all aspects of client deliverables and is responsible for interfacing with other teams within and external to U.S. Investment ConsultingExhibits outstanding knowledge of pension/actuarial math, finance and investment theory and practice, as well as U.S. Investment Consulting’s positions, and the ability to apply this knowledge to client and practice/research area workDemonstrates an excellent understanding of each client’s circumstancesExhibits the ability to process complex client needs and come up with creative solutions to meet needsActs as senior support on large clients taking partial ownership for the relationshipExhibits the ability to lead smaller, less complex client relationships and/or serves as secondary consultant on smaller, less complex client relationshipsDemonstrates ability to lead complex/challenging client meetings, if requiredDemonstrates clear and proven client relationship management skillsProvides contribution to sales efforts – completion of RFP/proposals, putting together customized prospect presentations, etcIs actively involved in continuing personal and professional development and promoting junior colleagues’ development Qualifications:Outstanding technical and analytical skillsExpert level understanding of pension/actuarial math, finance theory, and investmentsAdvanced writing and communication skillsAbility to involve and challenge more junior colleagues to develop themBachelor’s degree in relevant area (e.g., business, finance, economics, actuarial, math, statistics)Encouraged to be working toward relevant advanced degree and/or FSA/EA and/or CFA and/or Quant credentials6 years of experience We offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.  Our Colleague Experience: From helping clients gain access to capital after natural disasters, to creating access to health care and retirement for millions, Aon colleagues empower results for our clients, communities, and each other every day.  They make a difference, work with the best, own their potential, and value one another.  This is the Aon Colleague Experience, defining what it means to work at Aon and realizing our vision of empowering human and economic possibility.
