Description
The Process Improvement Lead analyzes, and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements. The Process Improvement Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
The Financial Planning, Analysis & Tools
team is seeking a Process Improvement Lead
to drive transformational initiatives which will create efficiencies and sustainability for FP&A through automation, reporting and process improvement. Lead efforts to identifying innovative solutions that will advance current technology and processes on all things FP&A related, including close, forecast and budgeting. Appropriately challenging the status quo while taking time to appreciate current state, assessing manual steps that can be automated, confirm value overall processes should yield, and seek to understand/assess impacts across system. Individual will be expected to work across teams to advocate for needs and manage plans for implementation including timelines. This role will also proactively invest in developing and educating the FP&A team by conducting necessary training of implemented solutions. Drive toward collaborative inclusiveness by identifying the right teammates and business partners to be involved at the right time, obtain perspective/feedback to inform solution opportunity, delivery channel and appropriate handoff/transition.
Innovate new tools and processes that simplify and reduce manual processes
Demonstrate understanding of complex business cases by optimizing and implementing creative solutions, while proactively identifying and resolving issues
Ensure requirements gathering, testing and deployment of reporting solutions that streamline processes and provide high value insights, including implementation of dashboard capabilities
Research best practices inside and outside the organization and company
Partner with internal and external teams to manage deliverables of project plans and timelines
Support effort to learn new capabilities of existing tools, maximizing them and suggest new ways of utilizing
Establish communication with proper escalation channels to provide timely, consistent, audience-appropriate information
Ensure proper documentation is captured and shared as necessary
Drive effort to ensure proper security around tools used for data and reporting is implemented and maintained
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
8 or more years of experience in Finance and/or Process Improvement
Experience with Microsoft Power platform and Oracle planning applications
Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong analytic skills with attention to details
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
Previous health insurance industry experience
