Job Summary

Responsible for full processing of payments, researching accounts, invoices, credits and refunds on an intermediate to complex level. Updates and summarizes receivables. Tests system enhancements and works on ad hoc projects as needed. Works independently and within team dynamic. Accountable and responsible for individual assignments and accuracy. Responsible for analyzing customer accounts and aging invoices and balances. Updates departmental reports and maintains familiarity with current policy/procedures Works with minimal guidance in own area of knowledge. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience and provided training as needed.

Job Description

​ Core Responsibilities :

Process payment applications for all receivables, including checks, credit card, ACH and wire payments. Perform check batch audits, payment transfers, refunds and adjustments.

Analyze and research charge backs, NSF's and payment corrections to determine proper and best handling.

Solid knowledge of Payment Application processes for all receivables.

Aging payment analysis and account reconciliation.

Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills, workbooks and pivot tables and formulas.

Works with Senior Analysts on projects and sometimes leads.

Researches and analyzes payment history/trends of all accounts.

Issues daily report on the status of delinquent accounts and tracks collection efforts.

Partners with Sales and/or Clients to reconcile payment applications and validate refunds.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work overtime as necessary.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in accounting, accounts receivable, collections, finance or banking

Strong understanding of debits and credits

Strong attention to detail

Excellent communication skills

Good Excel skills

Excellent customer service experience

Salary:

Pay Range: $18.52 - $27.78

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
