Position Summary

The Reverse Mortgage Production Supervisor is responsible for leading a dynamic team of up to 10 licensed Loan Originators ensuring the delivery on daily, weekly, monthly, and annual production goals in accordance with the company standards and guidelines and presents reverse mortgage opportunities to current customers over the phone in accordance with all regulations and training. This includes educating clients on the product and the process, working with Operations through the loan processing process, and following up with clients on any loan level issues through to funding.

This position reports directly to the VP-Reverse Mortgages and has a daily interaction with Operations Management.

Primary Responsibilities

Manage and monitor daily volume reports for their team to make sure that each Loan Originator is adhering to company policy and delivering on their goals

Responsible for delivering daily, weekly, monthly, and annual production goals.

Handle incoming customer service inquiries for resolution or escalation requests as needed

Facilitate new Loan Originators on boarding, including licensing, training and overall scheduling

Act as liaison between Sales Team and Loan Operations

Actively participate in meetings with Operations departments.

Train, mentor, and develop new and existing loan originators.

Make recommendations for revisions or updates to standards

Communicates professionally and clearly to clients when explaining reverse mortgages.

Using leads developed by the Company, calls on prospective clients and introduces them to the reverse mortgage products and qualifies for counseling session and application.

As appropriate and allowed, collects pertinent information from client and originates Reverse Mortgage applications.

Analyzes applicant information to determine whether the client is likely to qualify for the desired loan program.

Assists customers in choosing the proper program that best fits their needs and takes the initial loan application.

Provides guidance on the risks and benefits of the different programs available to the client. Explains and communicates the terms of each product and ensures that all of the required documents and disclosures are signed and returned in a timely manner.

Builds relationships with both internal and external customers.

Exhibits professionalism and takes pride in work when dealing with the customers.

Utilizes RoundPoint/Freedom Mortgage training materials, reference tools and other resources to provide accurate and up-to-date loan program/policy information to both external customers and internal business partners.

Ensures exceptional customer experience by overseeing the loan process from origination to close and providing on-going communication to customers and business partners.

Ensures successful completion of all assigned Training activities.

Understands and complies with requirements of applicable federal and state laws and regulations.

Continually meets and/or exceeds the Sales KPI’s set by Management for Productivity and QA.

It will be required to be in the designated office working approximately 40 hours a week.

Qualifications

Required:

Recent experience as a Reverse Mortgage Loan Originator (last three years)

Superior communication skills and proficient in modern media and technology

Fluent in HECM guidelines

Desired:

Experience with Quantum and Insellerate preferred
