Job Summary
This senior level role is responsible for dedicated portfolio management, project support and delivery for their assigned functional business unit. Also responsible for establishing relationships with customers and PMO peers in a highly matrixed environment between region and division. Must deliver programs on time and on budget, including resource allocation, change management methodology and strategic planning. Has a degree of impact on business results and may manage one or more employees. Contributes to functional strategy development and may lead product trials, deployment and/or discovery initiatives.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Manages large, complex project, program and/or process improvement initiatives
5 years of formal project/process management experience
Coaches, mentors and helps develop PMO team members
Subject matter expert of the Comcast West Division Project management methodology, and proven application thereof
Executive presence
Proven customer relationship building skills
Performance Rating meets internal criteria required
Consistently demonstrates at the Highly Proficient or Masterly level described in Manager Competency model
May be a subject matter expert in a particular area of Project Management support.
PMP preferred
Provides leadership and management to the Program Management team. Possesses staffing accountability, including recruitment and retention, hiring & performance management and leadership and professional development.
Provides support for corporate budgeting and budget tracking.
Recommends and implements corrective action with the Program Management Office (PMO,) as necessary, to improve performance.
Trains, hires and develops PMO staff. Has performance management responsibilities. Responsible for staff performance and salary and bonus administration.
Develops and maintains performance metrics to makes informed recommendations for strategic decision making.
Keeps abreast of new developments in project management methodologies, agile practices, best practices and industry standards.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Salary:
Pay Range: $106,410.60 - $159,615.89
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
