Associate Director - Financial Analysis M&A
Description:
Support Business Development (BD) in identifying and assessing commercial attractiveness and economic feasibility of external development opportunities. Identify and communicate risks, opportunities and recommendations on external development transactions to BD, Operations and Finance teams. Act as a key contributor / leader of the financial analysis team as it relates to specific deals, liaison with Tax, Treasury, R&D, Accounting and Operations finance. Assist other members of the finance team in coming up with recommendations of potential deal terms and structure. Continue to enhance financial analyses and financial models providing a Center of Excellence for the Company. Support ad hoc valuation and other projects.
Qualifications:
The candidate will a have proven track record in Finance and will have demonstrated strong analytical skills, and the ability to work well with others.
The candidate must demonstrate financial and business decision making abilities and be viewed as a partner with internal clients.
Candidate should be capable of in depth business analysis and financial modeling in Excel that includes evaluating new product opportunities, acquisitions and divestitures and initiatives in non-traditional pharmaceutical markets.
Experience with long term sales forecasting, valuation and deal support, and understanding of P&L drivers, A&P, sales force, COGS, is an advantage.
B.S. or B.A. degree required with an MBA preferred, 6 years diversified financial and business analysis experience.
Familiarity with the various businesses as well as tax, treasury, and legal is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
