The Senior Finance Analyst will provide reporting and analysis for the Accounts Payable team within Financial Operations, and have responsibility for developing new operational efficiencies, as well as enhancing existing solutions currently being used by process owners. They will seek to provide automated solutions to replace inefficient operational processes, by working closely with process owners and operational experts. Primary ongoing responsibilities will include:
• Leverage automation solutions including Alteryx, Excel, Access, Blue Prism RPA, or other data usage applications in order to automate operational processes for the AP team
• Reduce reliance on legacy systems by transitioning business processes to updated, and automated solutions, leveraging systems versus manual processes to mitigate risks
• Assist AP team in obtaining, comparing, and viewing relevant operational or business data through adhoc reporting requests
• Provide guidance for efficiency opportunities and direction on changes and new business requirements, while also identifying solutions to eliminate repetitive operational processes performed by the AP team
• Partner with process owners to understand business solutions needed and ensure solutions meet requirements
• Participate in system design and development related to new business initiatives. Provide reporting and analysis of activity to customers for use in monitoring and optimizing performances for new business initiatives
• Develop and foster productive relationships with business stakeholders. Ensure effective and efficient business processes in partnership with other reporting teams
• Reduce financial exposure to the BBY Enterprise through reporting and analysis, by collaborating with business partners to develop strategies that benefit the company and our business partners
• Manage existing solutions for both enhancements and defects

Basic Qualifications
• 1.5 years of work experience in an accounting or finance capacity
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Finance, Accounting, or Business experience with preferred emphasis on operations and process optimization
• Advanced experience building complex workflows in Alteryx
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation and facilitation)
• Demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically, build consensus, anticipate problems and solutions, and work with business partners
• Experience with SQL, MS Access, Visual Basic, or other data science applications or programming languages
• Experience working with various applications, including; Oracle EBS, MS Access, Teradata, Blue Prism RPA, and Fortrunner
