JOB SUMMARY
Manages functions related to Cash Management services including opening/closing accounts, wire/ACH transfers, and misc banking requests. Formulates and administers approved policies and practices throughout the organization and ensures reliable information is provided to key decision makers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviews and establishes procedural controls consistent with accepted accounting practices and applicable regulations. Continuously evaluates and supports internal controls.
Formulates, approves and implements policies and procedures throughout the department. Recommends bank account structure and services. Leads review of banking analyses to determine efficiencies and cost savings.
Analyzes statistical reports and bank analyses to identify cost savings opportunities.
Conducts annual review of department policies and procedures to ensure updates and modifications are made as needed.
Establishes training needs. Supports training program development by reviewing and approving training program content. Conducts training programs.
Reviews and approves wire transfers. Resolves discrepancies associated with transfers to facilitate release of funds.
Troubleshoots escalated problems and issues that arise within the department.
May oversee national initiatives and provide direction, guidance, and coaching to ensure project success and completion.
Reviews simple loan structures and other business documents. Provides comments and guidance regarding cash management issues.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university plus a minimum of eight years experience in banking or a related field. Prior supervisory or management experience required.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Advanced knowledge of computer software and hardware (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite Products).
