The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer solves complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Working closely within the team and stakeholders to socialize the capabilities of the Microsoft Power Platform. You will help co-create dashboards, apps, and flows that empower the business and incubate the capabilities within the business. You will bring innovative ideas that show the different ways that use Azure and the Power Platform

We are seeking a candidate who can apply a logical, systematic approach to problem solving using statistical/innovative/quantitative analytical approaches to draw conclusions and make 'insight to action' recommendations to resolve business problems and drive change. A team player that wants to collaborate and work collectively to the goals of the team.
Role & Responsibilities:
Develop and utilize best-in-class analytics and measurement methodologies in an environment that supports innovation; lead the analytics and insights capabilities for the department, including advanced visualization, streaming analytics and text mining
Apply innovative and analytical approaches to draw conclusions and drive recommendations supporting power platform. Consult on visualization techniques to support the relevant points of the analysis and ease the understanding for less technical audiences.
Influence the development, selection process, and ongoing support of system-wide analytic environments and tools
Develop a playbook for teams to utilize and understand where they are in the maturity roadmap and how they get to where they need to go.
Influence teams approach to the data insights and helping them co-create the development of dashboards and apps.
Partner with product managers on use cases to deliver dashboards that help socialize the power platform.
Build templates that demonstrate the art of the possible and what can be accomplished with the capabilities of Azure / Power Platform
Succinctly deliver complex analysis/findings in a manner that conveys understanding, influences senior executives, garners support for recommendations, drives business decisions, and influences business strategy.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, consolidate and validate business assumptions relevant to the solution strategy, prior to initiating and throughout the analytical process.
Work collaboratively to optimally apply data warehouse, cloud and BI architecture, data science and visualization tools and techniques (i.e. dashboards)
Stay up to speed on changes within the business intelligence community and new product developments.
Document assumptions, methodology, validation and testing to facilitate a strong understanding of what stakeholders are looking to build.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Knowledge of data collection, management, analysis, and advanced analytics methods and tools
Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
Ability to conceptualize workflow, develop and direct standard work, and implement appropriate actions. Ability to teach others
Ability to adapt to changes/challenges in organizational strategy, priorities, direction and overcome resistance to change.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, well versed in Power BI, Power Apps, Power Apps and the Azure portal stack.
Ability to gather data from a variety of structured and unstructured sources
Knowledge of marketing technologies such as attribution, ad servers, tag management, etc
5-8 years in the analytics and/or optimization industries
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
5 years business intelligence experience.
Demonstrated experience in influencing business decisions.
Successful completion of an analyst assessment may be required.
Microsoft certification a plus
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline or 5 - 8 years equivalent work experience.
Advanced in SQL, SAS and other data systems
Experience with SAS, Qlik, Tableau, SQL, Splunk, Hadoop, Python, R
Healthcare experience
Microsoft certification a plus
