This position will be responsible for supporting the financial planning and analysis of the U.S. Orencia, Nulojix and TYK2 commercial business. This role will partner with key commercial contacts, brand team, and supply chain. Successful candidate will develop an understanding of the business to support the growth and advancement of the brand.
Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
Develop projections and budgets
Work closely with Marketing, Market Research and Medical to identify business trends, report weekly/monthly results, and perform variance analysis
Process journal entries, monitor balance sheet and assist in preparation of account recs
Monitor key business issues, act as financial advisor for the business partners
Provide transparency on OPEX investment and assess resource allocations
Responsible for all areas of the P&L including Gross Sales, Gross-to-Net adjustments, COGS, A&P, Marketing, and Medical.
Ensure relevant accounting procedures and controls are in place and operating, and all requirements for US GAAP are fulfilled
Assist Associate Director Finance on adhoc projects as necessary
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, CPA or MBA preferred
5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles
The candidate should possess strong analytical skills and be familiar with accounting procedures, GAAP and internal control requirements
Ability to work in a fast pace environment often with aggressive deadlines and quick turnarounds
Strong business partnering skills with ability to work in a matrix organization
Ability to work in multiple financial systems (SAP, Hyperion)
Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
Highest level of integrity, work ethic and financial stewardship
