The Senior Auditor, Global Compliance will work under the direction of the Global Compliance Legal team and will be primarily responsible for designing and executing reactive and proactive risk-based internal investigations and channel audits at the direction of the Legal department, developing data-driven monitoring capabilities for Pure’s Global Compliance function, and working closely with Pure Internal Audit and Global Compliance to review and enhance Pure’s internal controls and compliance program.

What You Will Be Doing

Designing and executing internal investigations into particular transactions, partner relationships, and country operations at the direction of the Legal department.

Leveraging existing functions to develop data-driven monitoring capabilities, establish trends, uncover insights, and utilize data to track compliance within Pure and across its partner ecosystem.

Conducting regular compliance risk assessments and gap analyses

With Compliance, Legal, and Internal Audit, creating and executing a risk-based annual audit plan including country audits, functional audits, and partner audits.

Serve as a trusted advisor, providing compliance counsel and ongoing risk education to Pure’s front-line business functions

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field with 10 years’ experience

Industry qualification related to internal controls (CISA, CIPM, CFA), audit, project/program management, or change management experience a plus

Experience with channel-led B2B business as either external or internal client is required

Experience in Big-Four Audit or Internal Audit strongly preferred

Extensive experience and comfort in a global role and working internationally is required

Experience in enterprise technology industry is a plus

Demonstrated understanding and expertise with audit/controls (including knowledge of regulatory requirements)

Experience with complex project and program execution

Expertise in understanding and assessing risk

Demonstrated ability to communicate and present across the spectrum of resource levels - Executives to lower level resources internal and external to Pure

Aptitude for working independently

Ability to travel internationally

Pure Storage applies a geographic based pay structure depending on an employee’s location. For applicants located in Colorado (as required by SB19-085):

The minimum annual base salary range is: $130,000. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
