Enterprise API Portfolio Management Lead

Description
The Lead, Portfolio Management collaborates with business and IT portfolio teams to align the Enterprise API & Integration portfolio and demand. The Lead, Portfolio Management works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
Lead Portfolio manager will design and provide oversight to portfolio-level, value-driven governance for Humana Enterprise API Programs. This position is critical in ensuring that all API portfolio investments are aligned to Humana's enterprise strategy and meets short/long term business and customer needs. This person is also responsible for driving Portfolio-level information delivery and providing value/risk oversight by partnering with Enterprise Strategy, Business, and IT PMOs, Product Managers, and Release Train Engineers to define Analyze and report out on portfolio-level risks, metrics, and information related to value delivery.
Responsibilities:
Portfolio Value Alignment & Agile Governance
Govern portfolio efforts in a Scaled Agile environment
Oversee the achievement and risk blockers related to IT product deliveries
Partner with PMOs and Product to align lean business cases, linking business benefits to IT investments for funding and allocation requests
Ensure Scaled Agile governance processes and decisions are applied consistently
Portfolio Transparency, Metrics, & Risk
Oversee the creation and review of key metrics, outcomes, and reporting related to milestones and objectives
Design and build dashboards based on stakeholder input at the Portfolio, Product and Team levels
Assess and Report the health of product deliveries with objectivity, accuracy, and transparency
Implement and monitor Agile KPIs to ensure benefits are being realized from the adoption of agile practices (increase time to market, increased productivity, higher quality, increased employee satisfaction.
Ensure that appropriate stakeholders are engaged in risk identification and mitigation
Predict and identify risks/opportunities from interdependencies of product deliveries
Team Leadership
Collaborate across Humana to gain consistency and value add reporting that is developed through automation.
Utilize an Agile approach to foster continue learning and a fast feedback loop; encourage experimentation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and/or equivenent work experience.
4 years of experience in Program, portfolio, and/or multiple projects management
2 years of experience in an agile / scrum environment with a demonstrated appreciation for large enterprise standards
Proven track record of managing a cross-functional process or delivery teams in a large technical enterprise environment
Well versed with Scaled Agile Framework's Portfolio Management methodology
Proficient knowledge of Agile/DevOps/Program Mgmt. Lifecycle methodologies and standards
Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills
Experience working in a geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-group
Knowledge and experience using PPM tools, Jira, ADO, Confluence, MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or other Advanced Degree
Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes
SAFe certification, PMP certification, or related field
Demonstrated ability to run large scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams
Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse leaders
Proven experience managing effective governance in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and/or other agile methodology frameworks
Experience overseeing enterprise and large budget initiatives
Able to communicate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong ability to design and implement dashboards; ability to analyze data and present it in a way that tells a story
Comfortable with ambiguity, can handle the unexpected with flexibility
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to work with a collaborative approach and build trust with others
Comfortable working in a matrix organization
Additional Information
Preferred locations are Louisville or D.C., but open to work for home for right candidate
