Description
The Corporate Services Lead, Portfolio Management collaborates with business portfolio teams to ensure that there is alignment between the needed business capabilities and the IT Portfolio of work. The Corporate Services Portfolio Management Lead will work with a team of product owners to assist in defining the desired business outcomes and translating that into actionable IT work. The role will also have a focus on demand and portfolio reporting as it relates to business capabilities.
Responsibilities
The Portfolio Management Lead organizes and prioritizes capabilities and initiatives based on the business strategy and the strategic roadmap. They will also be responsible for, available and prioritized budgets, schedule changes and ensure that the appropriate financial and organizational support is being allocated in support of business goals. This role advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision.
Additional responsibilities include:
Designing metrics and reports to measure portfolio health (financial, project status, other)
Developing standards to be used across the team for portfolio management
Working with portfolio leaders within the IT team to ensure consistency in processes, methods, and data
Activing guiding prioritization processes across multiple teams
Advising IT leaders on demand and portfolio management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
8 or more years of technical experience
2 or more years of project leadership experience
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders
Advanced experience leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements and trend reports
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or other Advanced Degree
Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes
Six Sigma certification
PMP certification
Demonstrated ability to run large scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams
