The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for directly managing large, complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple internal IT and business departments / divisions, external vendors and/or managed service resources.  In addition, the IT Project Manager will provide mentoring and consultation to peers for the delivery of projects across the Finance Transformation program.  This position will participate in formalizing, guiding, and maintaining processes, metrics, and reporting to measure the ability of the EPMO team to meet service level objectives for business customers.  Essential Functions Strategy & Planning •             Maintain a portfolio of projects / roadmap in support of the Finance Transformation program, including measuring the value / effort of a project and developing the order of work to be delivered. •             Generate and maintain monthly project implementation, process improvement, and system maintenance work plans. •             Responsible for high level project estimates/budgets. •             Design and implement improvements for the project management and program management processes. •             Define strategic objectives and implement delivery processes, metrics and reporting requirements. •             Lead cross Sherwin-Williams teams on new initiatives, features, releases, and the underlying dependencies during development, testing, and launch. •             Review and advise the work of other project management team members to ensure consistency with EPMO best practices. Acquisition & Deployment •             Manage multiple complex projects within their assigned program, assignments, and priorities simultaneously. •             Execute projects from inception through to full operation, including definition of the project scope, development of the statement of work, budget estimates, project activities, deliverables, and success criteria. •             Create and maintain project plans including definition of project tasks and deliverables. •             Request and allocate resources based on project requirements and availability. •             Identify external technical dependencies, coordinate with other teams and Business Partners •             Generate project status reports and manage expectations as agreed upon to all stakeholders. •             Work directly with project team members to track progress, identify and resolve issues, and facilitate project completion. •             Proactively identify, record, and mitigate risks. Provide insight on resolving risks. •             Facilitate project closure to reflect upon successes, failures, and lessons learned on own projects and on other project manager’s projects. Operational Management •             Create and maintain work effort and budget reports. •             Forecast and approve time of resources on project. •             Work with existing systems to track and manage requests and issues. Provide solutions. •             Provide business reports to management and clients as assigned. •             Mentor peers on techniques to enhance skills and management of internal project initiatives. Provide performance feedback to the resource’s line manager.  •             Identify and facilitate opportunities to improve processes as initiatives transition through lifecycle from strategy, design, implementation, and support. •             Serve as point of escalation for the project management team when project issues arise and provide solutions to resolve issue. Incidental Functions •             Prepare and lead presentations as requested. •             Assist with other projects as required to contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the work. •             Participate in hiring activities and fulfilling affirmative action obligations and ensuring compliance with the equal employment opportunity policy. •             Enforce project management policies including time tracking, staff forecasting, and project milestone tracking such as User Acceptance testing, and performance benchmarking. •             Minimal travel as required. •             Work outside the standard office 7.5-hour workday may be required. Position Requirements Formal Education & Certification •             Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in an Information Technology or Business field of study (e.g., Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Information Management, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain) or equivalent experience. •             PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) preferred. Knowledge & Experience •             5 years IT and/or Business experience. •             3 years hands on experience managing complex IT projects and or programs. •             Detailed knowledge of corporate financial systems and process experience. •             Experience / knowledge of OneStream system consolidation. •             Experience leading or managing financial projects. •             Well versed in Microsoft Office applications and Project Management tools. •             Broad base of technology and business experience including strategy, design, implementation, operations for application development organizations. •             Knowledge of project life cycles and project methodology. Position Preferences •             Experience supporting large or complex multi-functional and multi-divisional projects, including business or system integrations, acquisitions or rationalizations. •             Knowledge of or experience in: corporate financial processes; enterprise data analytics and reporting; program management; integrated order management. •             Preferred skills: agile project management, Jira / Confluence.
