Position Summary
Pricing is a key driver of Under Armour’s future profitability and success. As the Manager of Global Pricing Strategy & Analytics you will be an integral business partner responsible for challenging and supporting the Global Merchandising leadership team and driving better decision making by bringing data and analytics to support decisions. The pricing team is on the leading edge of developing and deploying new analytical tools and methodologies for the company. This position will manage one analyst and report to the Director of Global Pricing.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Bring data and analytics to support pricing decisions, helping to proactively recommend opportunities
Manage and mentor one direct report
Drive the initial ticket pricing approach and model development for key UA categories, proactively delivering fact-based pricing recommendations to teams
Work side-by-side with global merchandising and product teams to influence initial ticket pricing during the go-to-market process
Ensure key pricing objectives are met in UA’s go-to-market process and drive conversation of pricing at milestone meetings
Lead the development of new analyses to better understand consumer purchasing behavior
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate findings into actionable solutions and processes
Experience with analyzing big data sets via data structuring and visualization tools – SQL, Snowflake or Tableau – and superior Excel skills
Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to influence others
Education And / Or Experience
BA/BS required (Business, Economics, Finance major, a plus)
Minimum 3 years strategy, planning, or financial experience at an elevated level, preferably in the retail and consumer products industry
MBA or advanced degree in an analytics or related field a plus
Experience managing direct reports and leading cross-functional teams
Other Requirements
Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD.
Return To Work Designation: 2 days a week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.
Travel: Less than 5% of the time
